Biofuels Digest Index rebounds to 70.28 as ethanol equities jump

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, jumped 1.78 percent to 70.28 as ethanol equities rocked.   For the day, Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) ascended 3.13 percent to $0.33, while KiOR soared 15.06 percent to $4.89. Among other equities, Syntroleum (SYNM) rose 7.89 percent to $0.41. Overall, advances led declines 6 to 1 for the day.
