Biofuels Digest Index drops to 67.47 as advanced biofuels fall

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, dropped 1.67 percent to 67.47 as advanced biofuels dropped sharply.  For the day, BP fell 2.24 percent to $40.23, while Gevo (GEVO) lost 7.94 percent to $1.74. Among other equities, Solazyme (SZYM) fell 1.82 percent to $7.55. Overall, advances led declines 2 to 1 for the day.
