CME and ICE go head-to-head on RIN futures

In Chicago and New York, Reuters is reporting that the rivalry between the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and the InterContinental Exchange is heating up with both exchanges launching RIN features just two weeks apart from each other. ICE will be first to the market. CME’s contracts will be based on financial settlement from Argus while ICE will base its contracts on Platts.
