Biofuels Digest Index gains to 72.41 as ethanol advances

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, rose 0.32 percent to 72.41 as ethanol equities advanced. For the day, KiOR (KIOR) shed 4.23 percent to $4.76, while Algae.Tec (AEB.AX) dropped 13.04 percent to $0.20. Among other equities, Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) jumped 3.57 percent to $0.29. Overall, advances led declines 3 to 2 for the day.
