Biofuels Digest Index rises for 6th straight session to 74.52

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, surged for the sixth consecutive session, rising 1.89 percent to 74.52 as advanced biofuels and enzyme equities gained. For the day, Amyris (AMRS) escalated 3.04 percent to $3.05, while Codexis (CDXS) rocketed up 12.16 percent to $2.49. Among other equities, Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) fell 8.10 percent to $3.86 after a 1-15 reverse stock split. Overall, advances led declines 2 to 1 for the day.
