Biofuels Digest Index drops to 73.03 as advanced biofuels slump

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, dropped 1.11 percent to 73.03 as advanced biofuels slumped. For the day, Codexis (CDXS) fell 5.93 percent to $2.38, while Ceres (CER) shed 5.03 percent to $1.51. Among other equities, Verenium (VRNM) soared 37.12 percent to $3.14. Overall, declines led advances 7 to 3 for the day.
