Indian ethanol tender investigated for breaching anti-competition laws

In India, the national Competition Commission is investigating suspected violation of competition laws during the ethanol tenders held in January by the Oil Marketing Companies. Allegedly dozens of ethanol suppliers all submitted identical bids of between INR35-36 for the joint tender for three OMCs led by Bharat Petroleum.
