New Fuel Freedom Foundation report says EPA underestimating ethanol

In California, a new study soon to be released from the Fuel Freedom Foundation says ethanol-blended gasoline, or methanol-blended gasoline, can have 17% to 20% lower GHG emissions than the EPA’s estimate if an engine is tuned with the optimal setting for high alcohol. The EPA said it was willing to readjust its estimates if new results from the Fuel Freedom study prove to be valid.
