Biofuels Digest Index edges up to 65.10 as advanced biofuels surge

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, edged up 0.59 percent to 65.10 as advanced biofuels surged. For the day, Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) jumped 14.40 percent to $2.78, while Gevo ()GEVO) soared 26.09 percent to $1.74. Among other equities, Renewable Energy Group (REGI) dropped 4.84 percent to $13.38. Overall, advances led declines 9 to 8 for the day.
