On the Move in the Bioeconomy: Deinove, Microvi, Novasep

DEINOVE announced that Jacqueline Lecourtier has agreed to chair and lead the deliberations of their Scientific Advisory Board (SAB). Jacqueline Lecourtier was Scientific Director of IFP Energies nouvelles.

Novasep, a leading supplier of manufacturing solutions to the life sciences industry, announced the appointment of Nadege Laborde as the new president of its Industrial Biotech business unit.

In California, Microvi Biotechnologies announced today that Dr. Michael Melnick, a venture partner at CMEA Capital, will be joining their team as Chief Scientific Officer. While at CMEA, he also held operating roles in a number of their portfolio companies, including the materials science company Melior Technology in Berkeley, CA where he was Chief Technology Officer, and the biobased chemical company Draths Corporation in Lansing, MI where he was Chief Scientific Officer.
