EC funds OSIRYS to develop biocomposites for interior partitions and facades

In the United Kingdom, NetComposites reports it is now a partner of the OSIRYS consortium, comprised of seventeen other partners across Europe. Funding is being supplied by the EC’s Seventh Framework Programme. OSIRYS is a four year projected focusing on developing solutions to current emissions issues in the construction industry. The consortium will look to develop biocomposites from forest-based biomass, and will include both interior partitions and facades.
