Vancouver heating system likely to switch to biofuel

In Canada, Creative Energy Canada Platforms plans to open a call for proposals this spring to source the technology to convert Vancouver’s Central Heat Distribution heating oil-powered boilers to run on biofuels. Doing so would reduce 70,000 metric tons of GHG emissions per year. Conversion of other neighborhood systems are planned for the future
