City and community come out against San Carlos Bioenergy for pollution

In the Philippines, an online petition has been launched on change.org against the operation of the San Carlos Bioenergy, Inc. complaining of air pollution, foul odors and resulting breathing problems. The San Carlos City Council has also passed a resolution against the air and water pollution allegedly emitted from the facility while it has asked for assistance from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources.
