Biofuels Digest Index drops to 72.76 as ethanol equities take a bath

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, dropped 2.26 percent to 72.76 as ethanol equities took a bath. For the day, The Andersons (ANDE) plunged 14.90 percent to $52.60, while Amyris (AMRS) plummeted 9.82 percent to $2.80. Among other equities, Neste Oil (NTOIF) rebounded 3.14 percent to $21.03. Overall, declines led advances 2 to 1 for the day.
