DOE announces $2m funding opportunity for hydrogen and fuel cell manufacturing

In Washington, the Department of Energy has announced up to $2 million to develop the domestic supply chain for hydrogen and fuel cell technologies and study the competitiveness of US hydrogen and fuel cell system and component manufacturing. As a part of the Clean Energy Manufacturing Initiative, the funding opportunity will focus on commercial scale-up. The Department of Energy will also conduct a competitive analysis of global hydrogen and fuel cell manufacturing aimed at quantifying trade patterns and key drivers of US competitiveness. The submission deadline for Letters of Intent is May 30, 2014 and full responses will be due on June 30, 2014.
