Oil industry scours California bill to support biofuel funding scheme

In California, the oil industry—with the help of several powerful lobbying firms in Sacramento—managed to kill a bill on the Assembly floor that was meant to provide a price floor for carbon credits to help project developers get financing for biofuels that comply with the LCFS. AB 2390 was defeated 38-to-23.
