Pacific Ethanol only interested in small-scale cellulosic plants

In Idaho, Pacific Ethanol says it would likely only consider small-scale cellulosic ethanol facilities of no more than 10 million gallons per year. It is considering options for feedstock diversification away from reliance on solely corn. The Idaho National Laboratory technical lead on corn stover says that Idaho’s climate provides an advantage over the Midwest, allowing for longer-term storage with just a tarp for up to nine months.
