Renewable fuels not subject to new oil rail tanker regulations

In Washington, the American Petroleum Institute and Association of American Railroads have agreed to new regulations regarding rail tankers that transport crude oil, but the new norms aren’t applicable to ethanol and other renewable fuels. The Dept. of Transport will unveil the rules by the end of the month.
