E5 ethanol begins Vietnam rollout: 150 new outlets, outselling gasoline

In Vietnam, a report arrived from Tuoitrenews.vn that E5 ethanol blends have now fully replaced traditional ethanol-free gasoline at more than 150 stations, after a succesful “pilot” outlet trial, in the central province of Quang Ngai. The report we have says that E5 will be extended to Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang City, Hai Phong City, Can Tho City, Ba Ria – Vung Tau Province no later than December 1st. The news from Quang Ngai is that this province completed its change-over almost three months ahead of schedule. 60 percent of bike riders are said to be choosing E5 over the ethanol-free 95-octane gasoline.
