Meridian, DaniMer Scientific change name to Meredian Holdings Group

In Georgia, Meredian Holdings Group says that its Meredian and DaniMer Scientific will be rebranded as MHG (standing for Meridian Holdings Group), following the merger of tw two companies. DaniMer Scientific is a recognized leader in bioplastics technology and operates manufacturing facilities that support customers’ needs anywhere in the world. The company has established world-class research and development teams with two laboratories and a polymer development center to enable rapid response to customer needs. DaniMer has expanded from creating solely PLA to additionally being part of its sister company, Meredian Inc.’s PHA process.

Meredian is a PHA biopolymer manufacturer that produces durable, long-lasting, 100% biodegradable and compostable bioplastics and generates no toxic waste during production. The PHA produced can be adaptable to almost every plastic product created.

The merger that happened in July provides Meredian Holdings Group Inc. with a broader range of services to clients and higher levels of efficiencies and shared resources. It puts the company is a very strong position with revenue profits as they move forward in the bioplastics industry and continue to ramp up production capacity. The company has adopted a new corporate identity, including a new logo and website.
