CropEnergies expecting a loss for the year due to low EU ethanol prices

In Germany, CropEnergies says it might be able to break even in the year to February 2015—despite falling grain prices—because of European ethanol prices that have slipped even further, by more than 17% to EUR495 per cubic meter at the end of August. More likely, however, is that the company will incur a EUR20 million loss during the period.
