Premium for rapeseed biodiesel hits nine-month high in Europe

In the Netherlands, as Europe’s fuel supply starts to look towards the cold winter months, the premium for rapeseed-based biodiesel that has better cold weather properties has hit a nine-month high of $42 per metric ton. In December 2013, the premium hit $59/ton. The switch to winter supplies began in mid-September.
