European ethanol falls below psychological price point first time in three weeks

In the Netherlands, European ethanol has fallen below EUR500 per cubic meter for the first time in three weeks thanks to backwardation in futures markets and slowing demand. Ethanol prices should be supported by tight supplies in Rotterdam and parts of Germany, but the market was balancing thanks to the cooling demand.
