Green Plains sets ethanol production record that quadrupled net income

In Nebraska, Green Plains produced a record volume of ethanol during the third quarter at 246.9 million gallons, which led to a four-fold increase in net income of $41.7 million. The company expects strong crush margins as well as strong demand for ethanol globally to keep the company sailing through the second half of the year.
