Biofuel developer may get $550,000 soft loan from Indian town to build plant

In Indiana, Delaware-based S.G. Preston Company is negotiating with Logansport city council for a $550,000 forgivable loan towards the development of a $400 million biodiesel or biojet facility in the community that would use waste oils as feedstock. The facility would have an annual production of between 120 million and 400 million gallons. The final vote on the MOU is set for Dec. 29.
