EU ethanol prices fall to all-time low, following the US and lower feedstocks

January 15, 2015 |

In the Netherlands, ethanol prices for FOB Rotterdam fell to an all-time low of $508 per cubic meter, down from its previous all-time low reached in July 2014. Traders expect that some of the pressure is coming from falling ethanol prices on the other side in the Atlantic, where ethanol futures prices are the lowest seen in nearly a decade. Falling corn and wheat prices are failing to support ethanol.
