Wilmar opens its palm oil supply chain to scrutiny

In Singapore, Wilmar will open its palm oil supply chain to scrutiny from environmentalists to communities under its new transparency plan that includes online maps to more than 800 palm oil mills in Malaysia and Indonesia. To gain access to the data, one must request a password directly from Wilmar. The Forest Trust says the company is the first agro-processor to open up its supply chain in this way.
