Tell us about your company and it’s role in the Advanced Bioeconomy.
NZ is a global leader in the bio-ethanol revolution which by far, is the most promising technology in terms of benefitting all stakeholders involved.
Tell us about your role and what you are focused on in the next 12 months.
Our job is to help the Governments understand the benefits a bio-based economy has (especially in Agrarian economies like India)in terms of rural jobs, energy security & environmental benefits. While the Government of India is taking up steps in this direction, there is a need felt to speed up the process.
What do you feel are the most important milestones the industry must achieve in the next 5 years?
Setting up of the first 50 plants in next five years.
If you could snap your fingers and change one thing about the Advanced Bioeconomy, what would you change?
Establishment of a financial ecosystem backing bio-energy
Of all the reasons that influenced you to join the Advanced Bioeconomy industry, what single reason stands out for you as still being compelling and important to you?
