Duonix Beatrice biodiesel plant to come online later this year

In Nebraska, the biodiesel plant in Beatrice bought by Duonix Beatrice, a joint venture between Benefuel Inc. and Flint Hills Resources in late 2011, will begin to produce fuel later this year following a major retrofit to use ENSEL technology and become multi-feedstock. The facility will produce 50 million gallons annually of biodiesel with enhanced cold weather tolerance.
