Katter pushes ethanol in Queensland through discounted pump sales event

In Australia, the Katter Australia Party held an event on Tuesday at a gas station in Brisbane for drivers to test out discounted ethanol in an effort to boost support for a blending policy. MP Rob Katter has been a long time proponent of ethanol and says the 2% suggested by the RACQ is just a spit in the ocean, not nearly enough to provide the environmental and economic benefits of using locally produced ethanol, but the discussion paper recently released by the Queensland government is a step in the right direction.
