Biofuels Digest Index plunges to 60.95 on Greek, China concerns

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, plunged 3.07 percent to 60.95 as all sectors reeled on Greek debt, and China equity markets concerns. For the day, Gevo (GEVO) plunged 20.28 percent to $2.28, while Aemetis (AMTX) plummeted 9.57 percent to $3.16. Among other equities, Green Plains (GPRE) dumped 6.77 percent to $25.07. Overall, declines led advances by a 29 to 1 ratio for the day.
