T2 ethanol availability remains tight in Europe despite supplies of T1

September 15, 2015 |

In the Netherlands, T2 ethanol availability remains tight in Europe, a situation not likely to ease until after October. Until then, volumes even as small as 3,000 cubic meters are difficult to find with producers only offering small volumes here and there to try to fulfill demand. Even the 10,000 cubic meters on its way to the UK from Brazil isn’t enough to help loosen the market for T2, though duty unpaid T1 ethanol seems to be more available if traders were able to use it, which they’re not.
