European T2 ethanol average price for September slightly lower than August

In the Netherlands, the European T2 ethanol market remains short of supplies, helping to support prices at an average of EUR581.34/cu m during September, just 76 cents per cubic lower than the August average. Few imports mixed with several ethanol facilities closed during September and October for annual maintenance worked to support the market. As a result, prices are expected to remain high as tightness continues throughout October by looking ahead analysts are unclear where the market will be going.
