India’s South Western Railway planning 10 more biodiesel stations and B10

In India, South Western Railway is really taking to heart the government’s push to use biodiesel in rail, with three stations already supplying the fuel and another 10 set to supply biodiesel in the next three to four months. The company estimates using biodiesel saves more than 4 cents per liter and is already looking at beyond the current 5% blend to the benefits of using 10%. It is tempering its ambition for higher blends, however, until it gets experience with B5.
