Digest Bioeconomy Index edges up 0.22 percent to 49.89 despite an advanced bio decline

The Digest Bioeconomy Index, an index of publicly traded advanced bioeconomy stocks, edged up 0.22 percent to 49.89 despite an advanced bio decline. For the day, Amyris (AMRS) dumped 15.13 percent to $1.29, while Aemetis (AMTX) plunged 13.04 percent to $1.60.  Among other equities, Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) rallied 7.99 percent to $4.46. Overall, advances led declines by a 3 to 2 ratio for the day.
