The Digest Bioeconomy Index, an index of publicly traded advanced bioeconomy stocks, jumped 2.18 percent to 51.14 as advanced bio equities rose. For the day, Solazyme soared 23.60 percent to $1.99 as the company unveiled new capital, a name change and focus. Green Plains (GPRE) jumped 6.63 percent on oil price recovery, and Aemetis (AMTX) gained 7.96 percent to $1.76 on the same news. Overall, advances led declines by a 2 to 1 ratio for the day.
