India’s Godavari Biorefineries expands Karnataka ethanol plant to 50 million liters

In India, Godavari Biorefineries has expanded its molasses-based ethanol facility at the Sameerwadi sugarcane processing facility in the Bagalkot district of Karnataka state to 50 million liters of anhydrous production annually from the previous 15 million liters per year. The investment is meant to help further supply the country’s ethanol blending mandate. Part of the financing came from a recent capital raise with Mandala Capital. The company also has a sugarcane-based manufacturing facility in Maharashtra.
