April 12, 2016 |

In North Dakota, Spiritwood Energy has secured a $75,000 matching grant for a $225,000 grant that should be approved in May that will help it move forward with the cellulosic ethanol project planned using DONG’s technology. Corn stover and wheat straw are the planned feedstocks for the $150 million planned facility. The Danish export agency may also guarantee the finance secured to implement the plant due to the project being DONG’s first tie up with this technology in the US.
