EU market expecting Central American ethanol imports in May and June

In the Netherlands, the European market is expecting ethanol to arrive from Central America into Rotterdam this month, with at least 7,000 cubic meters on route and a much larger volume set for arrival in June despite the market being well supplied at the moment. The arrival of the new imports is not expected to weigh on market prices, however, because demand typically picks up the second half of May in line with increase summer driving.
