T2 ethanol breaks EUR500 price barrier

In the Netherlands, T2 ethanol prices have pushed through the psychological price barrier of EUR500 per cubic meter to EUR504, the highest seen since February 17. Lower demand and full storage tanks at the Port of Rotterdam has seen prices in a contango pattern since the same day, with the cash contract’s premium over paper now at the lowest seen in two weeks. Demand is starting to pick up around mid-month, with even more seen in June thanks to increased driving during the summer month
