Tongaat Hullet to boost ethanol production to 28 million liters

In Zimbabwe, Tongaat Hullet plans to boost its ethanol production to 70% of installed capacity at its Hippo Valley sugar mill, up from the 50% it has been running at for several years. That will boost annual production to about 28 million liters from the 20 million to 21 million liters it has averaged. The company has been operating on a temporary license to supply the domestic market’s E15 blend due to Green Fuel’s incapacity to produce enough fuel for the blend while the company seeks permanent permission.
