Analysts happy with Green Plains Partners’ performance and possibilities

November 2, 2016 |

In Nebraska, the market and analysts alike are happily surprised with how well Green Plains Partners, Green Plains’ spinoff handling ethanol storage, processing and transportation, is performing after just a short period of time in operation. The company’s second quarter results come out above analysts’ expectation thanks to an 11% increase in storage and throughput volumes over the first quarter mixed with lower operating and administrative costs. Increased margins at Green Plains mixed with picking up two of Abengoa Bioenergy’s plants following stalking horse bids at auction are likely to mean happy days ahead for both GPP and GPRE.
