In South Africa, a biodiesel-powered tram is using narrow gauge track built more than a 100 years ago to transport wine connoisseurs around 14 wineries in the Franschhoek region of the Western Cape. The tram has been so successful that nine bus routes have been added to connect with the tram to transport wine buffs to wineries (though not clear if the buses are also biodiesel powered) that has been a boon for smaller wineries while a second car will soon be added, expanding the route that will still only use about half of the track line available.
