Philippines monthly ethanol allocations for Q2 higher at 76,900 cu m

In the Philippines, the Sugar Regulatory Agency increased the monthly ethanol allocations during Q2 by 1,065 cu m to 76,900 cu m in line with expected increased production through April. Ethanol production is seen reaching 29,300 cu m in April but will then fall back down to 23,800 cu m/month in May and June. This year, a new 40 million liter per year ethanol plant is expected to come online, helping to boost production and therefore domestic availability for blending.
