Malaysia and Indonesia to sent ministerial delegation to Brussels over palm oil report

In Malaysia, the government will send a high level joint ministerial mission including counterparts from Indonesia to Brussels next month in order to head off further negative policy moves following the European Parliament’s nearly unanimous opinion looking to bad palm oil for biodiesel by 2020. Malaysia’s prime minister is concerned about the shift in sentiment towards palm oil in Europe and will soon speak with Indonesia’s president on the matter.
