Brazilian June ethanol exports down 38% on year but double from May

In Brazil, while June ethanol exports were double those seen the month prior, they were still down 38% on the year at 160.1 million liters. The average price for the ethanol exports was down about 3% on the year at $538.10/cu m but Platts says price for ethanol leaving Santos has fallen since those deals were booked, with prices now closer to $509.86/cu m for anhydrous. Overall exports are down 45% on the year at 593 million liters, most of which is expected to have gone to the US.
