June 25, 2018 |

In Brazil, the most recent biodiesel auction held by the country’s petroleum, natural gas and biofuels agency ANP sold 1.01 billion liters valued at $700 million at an average of 70 cents per liter. More than 97% of the fuel offered by 38 producers holds the social seal indicating feedstock had been sourced from smallscale farmers. Fuel purchased during the 61st tender last week will be used to supply the 10% blending mandate between July 1 and August 31.
