South Korean-Indonesian consortium seeking partner for sustainable bunker fuel project in Singapore

In Singapore, Ship and Bunker reports that South Korea’s GF Oil and Sejong Technologies have teamed up with Indonesia’s Korindo to sell vegetable oil-based bunkering fuel in Singapore. The trio are looking for bunkering partners active in the Southeast Asian shipping hub to bring the project to reality. The idea is to produce up to 3 million metric tons of vegetable oil-based bunkering fuel on the Indonesia island of Bintan by the end of phase 3, supplying the fuel to Singapore for further use and distribution.
