In North Dakota, local press reports that the state’s industrial commission has awarded Hankinson Renewable Energy a half million dollars in order to upgrade its ethanol facility, expanding production capacity by 10 million gallons per year thanks to Stack Heat Recovery system. The upgrade will not only reduce demand for natural gas and water but it will also allow the facility to increase its corn intake, recover heat for use within the system and collect water from condensation.
