Trump biofuel deal seen including partial hardship waivers

In Washington, Reuters reports that the biofuel deal President Trump is set to sign this week is likely to include partial hardship waivers for small oil refineries but it is not clear if those partial waivers would be applied to the 31 full waivers awarded in August or if the policy would be applied to future applications. Higher biofuel quotas through 2022 and increased access to E15 are also expected to be part of the deal that is meant to be announced next week.
